Annet Mahendru

Mahendru is a mother of Russian origin who was born in Afghanistan. She speaks fluently with German Russian and English and additionally speaks French Persian and Hindi. Annet Mahendru is the daughter of an Indian father, and a Russian mother. She choreographed her 11 year old show that earned her a German TV show appearance as a Russian Snow Maiden, who turns into a playful Indian Dancer. She completed high-school within New York before earning a bachelor of Arts (English) at St. John's University. Following school, she began acting classes at the HB studio but the moved on to study improvisation with the Groundlings School taking on several comedy shows afterward. Her birthplace was in Kabul Afghanistan to a Hindu-Indian father Ghanshan Ken Mahendru and the Russian mother Olga. Her family relocated from Afghanistan to East Meadow New York, along with her father, when she was 13 years old. She is a star with Matthew Rhys and Keri Russel in FX's The Americans. TV actress known for playing the former KGB agent Nina Sergeevna Krilova, on FX's The Americans. Her most well-known role is the roles she has played on Fox's The Following & NBC's The Blacklist.
